Dangerous, Violence-prone Religious Fanatics, Here In America!!! --- Arrianna Huffington's latest column lists these signs (from a professional psychiatrist) as the danger signs of religious fanaticism: "...an intolerance of dissent, a doctrine that is riddled with contradictions, the belief that one's cause has been blessed or even commanded by God, and the use of reinforcement techniques such as repetition to spread one's message." Read her column, here. Who fits this description? Your old buddies, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rove, Card, and the other usual suspects.

Two things separate America from the rest of the world: our dedication to the Separation Between Church And State, and The Freedom Of Speech. If we allow Bush & Company to entwine Church & State, we will lose our ability to question authority, to voice dissent, and to stimulate political debate. Bush & Company advocate nothing less than a theocracy based on religious clerics dictating proper modes of behavior, and if possible, making their suggestions legally binding. Does anyone think imams, clerics, and ayatollahs are what an enlightened society needs?
Science Is Not An Exact Science --- Scientists from the University of Alabama, Huntsville have recently used NASA data to determine that solar flares are 20 million degrees hotter than previously thought. 20 million? Makes you wonder how much we really "know." Here's the link, from Space Daily.

Next Stop: Iran --- The Bush war machine is gearing up for another go, read about the newest threat to your cheap gas dreams, here, from BBC. Bush claims that Iran is developing nuclear weapons and that the "international community" won't allow this to happen. Which "international community?" The one that had over 6 million people demonstrating in the streets against attacking Iraq? The one that featured Germany and France calling the Bush group a bunch of craven liars? No, the only "international community" Bush & Co. care about are the board of directors of oil companies. If Bush, the stupid cunt, really wanted to attack some country with nuclear weapons and a crazy ruler, why doesn't he go after North Korea? There isn't much question about whether or not North Korea has nukes, they claim they do and they claim they're going to make more. How can anyone believe a single word out of Bush's mouth?

Beckham Splits To Madrid --- After plenty of rumours and denials, a deal has been agreed between Manchester United and Madrid for the world's most popular soccer player. David Beckham will be playing on a team of superstars but personally I think it FUCKING SUCKS that Becks is leaving the Reds. So next season, when Arsenal is kicking our asses because Becks is out of the lineup, who will we have to thank, "sir" Alex Ferguson, the twat who had so many personal battles with Beckham that a transfer deal was only a matter of time? Nice going, Fergie, you cunt. Anyway, read more, here, from BBC.
